Indian theatres to show The Odyssey in two parts

A day after the release of Christopher Nolan’s much-awaited The Odyssey, Indian theatre owners have decided to show the movie in two parts.

The movie will be shown in two parts: the upper half first and then the lower half, considering it was shot in an aspect ratio that no theatre screen is capable of accommodating—not even any IMAX theatre in India.

Speaking to The Fauxy, a theatre owner said, “If Dhurandhar can be a success even when shown in two parts, why not The Odyssey, when there are more Christopher Nolan fans in India than in the US?”

Currently, after seeing the movie, some theatre owners are considering showing the movie in three parts.
