Man Adds “Corruption in Judiciary” to His Case Filing to Secure Urgent Hearing

A day after the Supreme Court took suo motu cognisance of the NCERT matter, a man reportedly added the phrase “Corruption in Judiciary” to his case filing to get an urgent hearing.

Today, while fixing a date for another case, CJI Surya Kant said it should be listed after the Holi holidays. He then further delayed the matter, remarking, “Allahabad hai bhai… ek hafta toh lag jayega bhang ka nasha utarne mein.” Observing that the Supreme Court did not wait in the NCERT matter, the man got the idea of seeking immediate attention for his own case.

Speaking to The Fauxy, the man said, “Modern problems require modern solutions.”

Currently, the Supreme Court is reportedly considering cancelling its Holi vacation to urgently hear a contempt of court case against the man.
